The window you see before the hotkey will refine. You cannot skip the account or the plan. Later steps can be skipped.
How to open it
It opens on its own after install, and again if you are signed out or still choosing a plan. The refine hotkey brings it back until you press Finish.
Rail and footer
A step list on the left, the step in the center, and Back / Skip / Continue along the bottom. The brand mark at the top of the rail is also the drag handle.
- Step list
- Left rail, top to bottom: Account, Plan, Appearance, Hotkey, How it works, Privacy, First refine Shows Step N of 7. You can click a step you have already passed. You cannot jump ahead.
- Account menu
- A profile icon, once you are signed in. On the plan step there is no Back, so this is how you leave. Switch account, or Log out, which returns to the sign-in step.
- Back
- Bottom left, when the step allows it Returns to the previous step.
- Skip
- Bottom, on steps after the plan. On the plan step the label is Skip for now, and only when a plan is not required to proceed. Skips the explanation. Account and Plan cannot be skipped.
- Continue
- Bottom right. On the last step it reads Finish. Goes to the next step. Finish arms the hotkey and closes setup.
Account
The first step
- Continue with Google
- Primary button on Sign in to Anvyll and on Create your Anvyll account Opens Google in the browser. This window continues when that finishes. A line says Google sign-in opened in your browser.
- Sign in
- The email form. On the create form the button reads Create account. Signs in with email. Back to sign in returns from the create form.
Plan
The second step
- Free
- The Free card. The button is Use Free. Takes the one-time 1,000 credits. No card.
- Unlimited
- The Unlimited card. Start free trial, or Start Unlimited if the trial is not offered. Opens checkout in the browser. Back to plans returns from the waiting state. The waiting title is Finish checkout in your browser.

Steps three through seven
- Theme
- Appearance step. The same ten themes as Settings, with Flow first. Picks the look of the overlay and Studio.
- Hotkey
- Hotkey step. A key field. Press the keys you want. The default is Ctrl+Space.
- How it works
- A short explanation, no extra buttons beyond Back, Skip, and Continue Describes tap to refine and hold to dictate.
- Privacy
- The privacy step Says what stays on this PC and links the privacy policy.
- First refine
- The last step A practice refine. Finish closes setup. After that, Ctrl+Space opens the overlay.
